A Most Worthwhile Cause

I can take no credit for this card at all.  We made this at my upline, Winona's, April meeting for her group, and it was CASE'd from Kimberly Van Diepen's blog, Stampin' by the Sea.

The stamp set used is called Strength and Hope, and for every set that is purchased Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) in support of breast cancer research.  I absolutely love this set, and I happy to stand in support of this Foundation.

This card is made using another pattern from the Paisley Petals DSP, as well as the Four Frames and Strength & Hope stamp sets.

A Little Bit of Spring

I have a Monday to Friday job, but I ended up working yesterday as well, so I'm super busy trying to cram Saturday chores into what is usually our relaxing, family Sunday.  In between chores, I just had to run to my craft room for a little 'me' time and make a quick card.

Since the Spring is Blossoming promotion only runs until April 30th, I wanted to make another card using both the Paisley Petals DSP and the Four Frames stamp set.  This is a super easy card, but it still packs a little punch.  I love birds, and the little guy on the Four Frames stamp is so cute!  I coloured his body using Peach Parfait and a blender pen to make him stand out a bit more.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

Paisley Petals - Another Sneak Peak

The Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper has so many elegant patterns in the package.  I've made a little gift bag using another of the sneak peak papers.  With Easter coming up, this a great little gift to place at your dinner table at each place setting, or you could give the gift to your guests either as a welcome gift as they arrive or a parting gift as they leave.

I love the colours in this paper.  I chose to highlight Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist, but there are several colour combinations that would look awesome together.  You can do a lot of mixing and matching with these papers!

Remember, the Paisley Petals DSP and Four Frames stamp set are available for purchase from April 1-30, 2011 as a sneak peak.  After that, you'll have to wait until the 2011/2012 Idea Book & Catalogue comes out on July 1st before you can order them again.

Sneak Peek

Between April 1-30, 2011, you will have an opportunity to purchase the following items that will be appearing in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! catalogue.  The new catalogue doesn't come out until July 1st, so this is a great opportunity to get your hands on these goodies!

The promotion includes the Four Frames stamp set, and the Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper.
